Interested in consigning with ReFabulous Furnishings? We have made the process as simple as possible. We just ask that you follow the policies below to make the process seamless.

Before consigning furniture, send us pictures of the items you are interested in consigning. We will respond with our recommended retail values, (based on 12 years history of selling) and more details of how the process works.

NO Tables Without Chairs

NO Vintage Yard Tools

NO Pet Cages or Equipment

NO Sporting Equipment

NO Beds Including Mattresses or Box-springs

NO Entertainment Cabinets

NO Furniture with Broken Pieces, Missing Parts, Stains, or Odors

NO Kitcheware that used for cooking, serving dishes are accepted

NO Candles

NO Knives

NO Baby Furniture/Bassinettes

NO Luggage or Bags

NO Lampshades

NO Particle board furniture

Glass and china SETS only! No loose pieces.

Fine china must be approved before bringing it down to consign. Take a photo of the front and back then send it to our email or bring one sample piece to the store for review.

If you are unsure if the item you would like to consign is something with accept feel free to contact us and tell us what you would like to drop off.

Consignment Terms

Mission Statement

To create a win/win situation for both the consignor and the buyer! We intend to get as much money in the consignors account by the end of the 45-day term.

Consignment Hours

We are open for consignment 7 days a week ONLY during the following times. During these hours we will be proprely staffed to handle: Drop Offs, Settle Consigment Accounts, and address Questions and Account Resolution Issues:

Monday – Thursday: 11am – 3pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 11am – 1pm

Once an item sells it is a 50/50 split.

The consignment period is 45 days. Any unsold item by the end of 45 days with be donated or disposed of at the expense of ReFabulous Furnishings. We do connect with local charities such as the Children’s Home of Binghamton and Habitat for Humanity to donate funds and items they may need.

If don’t want to get your items back, you need to call the store at the end of the term and the RFF will retrieve your items and set up an appointment to pick up.

Any proceeds from the sold items can be retrieved on the 10th of the month for the previous month’s sales. We pay on demand on and after the 10th of the month.

Consignors are NOT contacted when your items sell!! You can call the store during consignment hours to get a status of your account or stop down to pick up a check.

Checks can be mailed ONLY if a consignor makes the request to ReFabulous Furnishings and there will be a $1.00 processing fee.

 

Other Services / Information

Refinishing & Furniture Painting

We LOVE to refab those important pieces! Fees are as follows:

Labor: $30/hr

Paint Supplies will be determined based on the project

For a Refinishing quote, email us photos of your project piece.

Pick Up Services

We can pick up your items to sell if you are unable to bring them down yourself! We go out Mondays-Fridays. There is a fee for the pick-up and it starts at $75 + tax and increases depending on your distance and the number of items you have. The pick-up fee can be paid in advance or via check at time of service. In order to schedule a pick up, please send photos of the items to us.

Our Refund Policy

A full cash refund is available (with your receipt) within the first 15 days of your purchase. After 15 days, store credit will be offered.
